Dovoy Alcohol Active Dry Yeast
Alcohol Active Dry Yeast
Introduction
Our Active Dry Yeast is derived from a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae distillers' yeast. It can be added directly to a fermenter along with nutritional supplementations and is used for batch and continuous fermentation for molasses, pure sugars, cane juice, syrup and various grain feedstocks.
Key Benefits
- Superior Temperature Tolerance:
Our Active Dry Yeast has high ethanol and temperature tolerance, which allows it to function up to 37°C - High Osmotic Pressure Tolerance:
It can withstand high osmotic pressure at high levels of sugar concentration, increasing the concentration of final end product desired. - Increased Fermentation Efficiency:
Our Active Dry Yeast can tolerate various organic acids produced in the fermenter, leading to a efficient fermentation process - Maximization of Yield:
High concentrations and temperature tolerance improve productivity and efficiency by producing more alcohol in less time - Excellent Alcohol Tolerance:
It has a high tolerance of alcohol, around 20% by volume and 16% by weight, resulting in higher productivity - Consistent Fermentation:
It rehydrates well in direct pitch applications, leading to a complete and consistent fermentation process

Ethanol Processing
Ethanol Production- Complex carbohydrates and lipids are effectively broken down by Dovoy’s set of enzymes that lead to a reduction in energy consumption, maximization of output and improved environmental sustainability.
Starch Processing & Derivatives
Starch-Solutions Our portfolio of enzymes consists of alpha-amylase and glucoamylases that act on complex starch molecules and convert them into dextrins and ultimately to sugar, leading to faster reactions, higher yield and significant cost savings.
